Under fifth-year head coach Terri Williams-Flournoy, the Hoyas (19-13) have posted the most wins since the 1992-93 season, when Georgetown went 23-7 and lost in the NCAA east regional. The Spiders (24-9) reached the finals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament. The Hoyas advanced to the third round of the postseason Women’s National Invitational Tournament for the first time in program history following wins over Winthrop and Wake Forest. Local product Monica McNutt (Holy Cross) had a career-high 23 points against the Demon Deacons.
