Despite the best efforts of liberal protestors who tried to bring down her clothing brand, Ivanka Trump got the last laugh.
The Hill reported on Tuesday that Ivanka’s clothing line hit a new record in sales in February.
“Since the beginning of February, they were some of the best performing weeks in the history of the brand,” Abigail Klem, the president of the Ivanka Trump fashion brand, told Refinery29 in an interview. “For several different retailers Ivanka Trump was a top performer online, and in some of the categories it was the [brand’s] best performance ever.”
Liberals have tried to wreck havoc on Ivanka’s business with the #GrabYourWallet campaign, pushing businesses like Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus from carrying the brand.
The e-commerce aggregator Lyst reported that sales of her merchandise and clothes increased by 346 percent from January to February.
Klem said that the brand has done their best to distance themselves from both Ivanka and her father since she took an informal role in the White House and took a leave of absence from her company.
