Who: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
What: Gave a grant of $1 million to the Utah Department of Natural Resources to remove 6 million pounds of carp from Lake Utah in order to help the survival of an endangered fish called the June sucker.
Why it’s an outrage: The fish are going straight to a landfill as of right now, or being turned into compost. According to an official, they haven’t yet figured out a way to earn money back with the fish.
Where to vent: Call the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Utah office at435-789-4078.
