The White House is weighing replacing outgoing United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley with Heather Nauert, former Fox News host and current State Department spokesperson and acting under secretary for public diplomacy and public affairs.

The White House staffers consider Nauert a qualified defender and supporter of the Trump administration’s foreign policy, and she is also a potential candidate to replace White House press secretary Sarah Sanders if she should leave, according to Politico.
