With a little less than a month until its release, “The Hunger Games” is already setting records.
Ticket-selling site Fandango started selling advance tickets on Wednesday for the film which opens March 23. That day, tickets for “The Hunger Games” totalled 83 percent of the site’s daily sales. That number makes it the highest selling day of advanced sales since another anticipated flick: the second movie in The Twilight Saga, “Eclipse.”
