Police are looking for a man who attempted to abduct a boy in Takoma Parkon Friday morning.
At around 7 a.m. Friday, a 12-year-old boy was walking to his bus stop at Cockerille and Kansas avenues, when a man got out his car and ran at the victim at a full spring in attempt to grab him, Takoma Park Police said. The man chased the boy back to his home, and witnesses saw the man casually walk back to his car, police said.
Police described him as a tan-skinned male, possilbe Hispanic, about 5-foot-8 and 250 pounds. He appeared clean shaven, with acne on his face. He wore a red baseball cap, a blue dress shirt and baggy blue jeans.
He was last seen driving a black, two-door Toyota Echo with tinted rear windows.
