What does garlic have to do with a manhunt?
International arrest warrants have been issued for two British men accused of smuggling as much as 1.2 tons of Chinese garlic across the Norwegian-Swedish border — thereby avoiding customs checks and some 10 million euros ($13.1 million) in Swedish taxes. China produces roughly 80 percent of the world’s garlic. In 2010, Polish authorities seized six containers with 144 tons of Chinese garlic that had been smuggled into the country via the Netherlands.
