President Obama talking in prime time is good for the TV business, especially Fox News.
Nielsen Media Research numbers just out showed that Fox annihilated the competition, CNN and MSNBC, during the 15-minute Obama speech.
FOX: 4,447,000 total viewers.
MSNBC: 1,890,000.
CNN: 1,827,000.
The numbers were a bit closer for the key advertising demographic, viewers in the 25-54 age range, but Fox still beat the others with nearly 1 million viewers in the category.
Fox also won primetime by three to one over CNN and MSNBC, and dominated the post-speech hour, when The Kelly File pulled in even more viewers than the Obama speech, 4,554,000.
