Donny Deutsch, a high-profile marketing executive and a regular guest on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” wondered aloud on Thursday whether Republican nominee Donald Trump suffers from erectile dysfunction.
On the set of “Morning Joe” Thursday, ahead of a taped episode of “The Dr. Oz” show in which Trump will discuss some of his health history, Deutsch noted that the 70-year-old may have sexual problems.
“I also want to point out one other thing that all— there are certain traditional problems that all 70-year-olds have, hypertension, and 40-60 percent of 70-year-old men have erectile dysfunction,” said Deutsch. “So, I wonder if whenever he releases his transcripts if there will be anything …”
The other guests and host Mika Brzezinski cringed and laughed nervously at the suggestion, to which Deutsch said, “These are facts and he’s 70 years old.”
He said he was “looking at what are some of the typical health issues of 70-year-old-plus people and that jumped out at me.”
Trump is 70 and would be the oldest man ever elected to the presidency, should he win. His appearance later in the day on “The Dr. Oz” show is supposed to feature him going over the results of a recent physical and an audience Q&A with the candidate about how his health.
