One person was killed in a crash on the Capital Beltway early this morning, police said.
The incident occurred about 2:05 a.m. on the outer loop just before the Georgia Avenue exit and involved a tractor trailer and two other vehicles.
One person was killed and another was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Maryland State Police said.
The crash closed lanes on the Beltway, but some lanes have since reopened.
