Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was destroyed early Wednesday morning.

The man who did it was dressed as a city construction worker, wielding a sledgehammer and pick-ax. He told Deadline his name was Jamie Otis and he was trying to extract the star to auction it off and give the proceeds to the multiple women who have accused Trump of sexually assaulting them over the decades.
Trump earned the star for his work on his NBC TV show “The Apprentice.”
In July, a street artist erected a miniature concrete wall around the Republican presidential nominee’s star to protest his proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
