[WATCH] Puppet flirts with women on NYC subway

This guy certainly gets points for originality. ModelPrankstersTV recently uploaded a video to its YouTube channel showing a man named Nigel using his skills in ventriloquism to pick up girls on the subway in New York City.

After emerging from a green suitcase, Nigel ‘Docta Gel’ Dunkley’s outspoken puppet tries to charm several women into giving their digits to his owner, succeeding in attracting the ladies and making fun of Nigel at the same time.

The puppet says of the first girl who catches his eye, “She acting scared. You know why? She saw your face!” he says. “You not so cute, she’s cute.”

Nigel agrees, and the puppet eggs him on to “Get her number, get her number.”

The puppet is even more successful with the next girl, telling Nigel, “That girl checked you out” and provoking him to talk to her because “she’s so cute.”  The puppet then takes the initiative to address the girl, telling her “hi” repeatedly in a flirty voice.

When his owner asks, “What are you trying to do?” the puppet replies, “I’m trying to hook you up.” The animated doll then asks the woman to put her number into Nigel’s phone, and she complies. All the while, onlooking subway riders are giggling and enjoying the show.

The video, which was uploaded on Thursday, already has well over 350,000 views.
