Oh, Bristol. We as a nation continue to wonder, revel and appreciate. Or is that just Beltway Confidential? Everyone else seems so sick of Levi Johnston, but the blog cannot get enough. He is now officially so overexposed (no pun intended) that it seems inevitable that he met fellow Sarah Palin detractor Andrew Sullivan. Come to think of it, why did it take so long? We fully expect Levi to turn up at the White House, very soon.
Sullivan writes of the encounter, which took place like many fateful meetings, in the CNN green room:
Johnston, his aide, Tank Jones, and I had a fascinating chat in the green room. It was all off the record but I hope at some point to be able to interview Johnston on the record as a way to get some first-hand fact-checks on the Palin book and public statements.
Oh, Andrew. Really? Levi is many things to many people, but is he a reliable and credible fact-checking source? The Queerty blog calls Sullivan’s obsession with Sarah Palin “exhausting” and notes that she is thinking of suing him. Johnston and Sullivan appeared separately on Joy Behar’s talk show, where Levi talked about being a gay icon. From Mediaite:
Johnston: I haven’t ever seen a gay guy in Wasilla, I don’t think.
Behar: You’ve never seen a gay guy? Look around they’re all over here. (laughter)
Johnston: Once I started doing all these tours and everything. You know I just…they’re people too. It doesn’t matter to me. More fans, that’s great.
