Hillary Clinton actually graced Fox News on Monday night for a Detroit townhall. Even more shocking was one young woman’s reaction to Hillary’s comments.
As Hillary spoke about her apparent support from millennials, this audience member clearly was not buying it. The young woman had an unhappy look on her face, which only became more contorted as Hillary spoke. There was also head shaking involved.
Hillary mentioned that “I am going to continue to attract young people. I’m proud of those who have been supporting me.” She acknowledged how lacking her youth support has been, sort of, when she continued, “I tell young people all the time you may not be for me now, but I’m for you regardless. And I’m going to keep working to try to help young people.”
This audience member wasn’t the only one in Michigan who thought so. Sanders’ win on Tuesday night can only be described as an upset, as polls had Hillary up by close to 30 points. While the win was narrow, Sanders once more won overwhelmingly with millennials.
CNN exit polls showed he had the support of 81 percent of those 18-29 and 55 percent of those 30-44.
