The final suspect in a botched home invasion-robbery in Sterling that left one man dead in February has been arrested, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said.
Authorities said 27-year-old Samuel T. Eaton was spotted riding his bicycle in Sterling on Tuesday morning. A citizen recognized him and called the sheriff’s office, and Eaton was apprehended without incident.
The sheriff’s office says that 28-year-old Anthony D. Miles was shot and killed after he, Eaton and another man broke into a home on the 1200 block of East Kennedy Drive on Feb. 10. Someone inside the home shot Miles to death and wounded another suspect.
Eaton has been charged with robbery, burglary and a weapons charge. Authorities said charges are pending against the wounded suspect, whose name has not been released.
Two women, 27-year-old Rebecca Hook and 24-year-old Whitney Lasik, have been charged with accessory after the fact for allegedly driving the injured man to the hospital and fleeing with Eaton.
