After being pulled off the set of The View for coronavirus concerns, two hosts discussed the “uncomfortable” moment that interrupted plans for an interview with the vice president.
Production at ABC News’s The View asked hosts Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro to leave the set after they apparently tested positive for COVID-19. The interruption came as the show anticipated an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.
“I’m thrilled to report that Sunny and Ana’s Friday results turned out to be false positives,” said host Joy Behar of her colleagues’ tests. “No one’s got it. It was a mistake of sorts.”
HARRIS INTERVIEW DELAYED AFTER TWO ON THE VIEW TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
Harris, en lieu of an in-person interview, spoke to the remaining hosts remotely toward the end of the program.

Hostin commented on how the public disclosure of personal health information made her feel.
“It really was uncomfortable for my results to be released publicly before I even knew what was going on,” she said Monday.
Navarro was “flabbergasted,” she said.
The two are fully vaccinated and did not make contact with Harris before or after the interview, according to ABC News.
