Comcast On Demand is currently offering its customers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington, D.C. the Ripken Experience On Demand, free of charge for digital cable customers. The video highlights parts of Cal Ripken Jr.?s historic career and includes instructional videos, as well as Hall of Fame induction speeches from various baseball legends and other baseball-related content.
“The Ripken Experience delivers a one-of-a-kind On Demand destination for baseball fans and young players to learn from the game?s icons and get ready for this summer?s historic Hall of Fame events,” said Michael Ortman, vice president of programming, Comcast Cable Eastern Division, in a statement. Ripken will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in July 2007.
