Despite his stated hesitance to “name names,” the president then took aim at the “Clinton News Network.”
Trump’s speech spent significant time focused on the media. The president clarified his position on “fake news,” telling the crowd, “I’m not against the media. I’m not against the press,” explaining his opposition is only to dishonest stories.
