Actress Kirstie Alley hasn’t always been the most outspoken person in Hollywood about her politics, but on Sunday afternoon the Cheers star took to Twitter to announce she who she plans on not voting for.

Alley received some flack from people who said her opinion didn’t matter, but she rebuked their criticism saying that she had a responsibility to influence others.

Despite claiming to be a registered Democrat, this isn’t the first time the actress showed some love to the GOP. After the 2012 Republican National Convention when Clint Eastwood had his conversation with the empty chair, Alley was ecstatic.
