Since Yeas & Nays is always a fan of a fake Congressional Twitter accounts, today we’re featuring @CGSweaterVest or, more simply, Sen. Chuck Grassley‘s sweater vest, discovered by the Heard on the Hill ladies at Roll Call. The account’s bio reads: “Chuck Grassley protects Iowans. I protect his chest” and tweets things like, “When Chuck forgets to include me in his outfit, he just doesn’t smile as often.” The identity of whoever is behind the new Twitter account has not been figured out, but it followed in the footsteps of faux Congressional Tweeters like @TomCoburnsBeard and @NudeScottBrown.
