Trump is expected to rally support around Republican congressional candidates state Rep. Russell Fry and Katie Arrington, who are trying to unseat incumbent Republican Reps. Tom Rice and Nancy Mace in November.
Rice and Mace have been noted as political targets of Trump since speaking out against the former president following the Jan. 6 riots. Trump endorsed Fry in February.
The former president is also expected to target the Biden administration’s handling of the war in Ukraine, rising inflation, and the U.S. border crisis.
