Cops: LI man set up shooting target near school

SEAFORD, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a Long Island man set up a makeshift shooting target near the grounds of an elementary school.

Nassau County authorities went to the home on Island Channel Road in Seaford on Saturday morning in response to a report of BB gun shots from the property, which is next to the Seaford Harbor Elementary School.
