WASHINGTON (AP) — Metro’s red line is back to normal after a cracked rail caused delays in both directions during morning rush hour.
The red line had been running on a single track between the Van Ness and Dupont Circle stations Tuesday morning. The cracked rail was at the Dupont Circle station.
Metro says some trains were bypassing two stations to minimize delays.
The red line was back to normal before lunchtime.
