Former prison guard convicted of resisting arrest

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — A former state prison guard has been convicted of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after getting into a drunken brawl last summer in upstate New York.

Saratoga County prosecutors say 54-year-old John Bateman Jr. of Gansevoort was found guilty Thursday in Saratoga Springs City Court.
