President Trump’s 81st week was marked by the announcement of the establishment of a sixth branch of the military to defend U.S. satellites and counter adversaries in space, better known as “Space Force.”
Vice President Mike Pence made the announcement on Thursday at the Pentagon, pledging to fulfill Trump’s vision, which they hope is up and running by 2020.
In election news, Trump campaigned in Ohio’s 12th District for Republican congressional candidate Troy Balderson, who is facing Democratic candidate Danny O’Connor in both the special election as well as the general election in November. They’re vying for Rep. Pat Tiberi’s seat, who retired earlier in 2018. The district has been held by Republicans since the 1980s, but this special election was extremely tight, with Balderson holding a small lead.
Overall, it was a quiet week for Trump. At his private golf course in Bedminster, N.J., the president pushed for prison reform, touted the country’s growing gross domestic product, and took pop-shots at NFL players for protesting during the national anthem.
The NFL players are at it again – taking a knee when they should be standing proudly for the National Anthem. Numerous players, from different teams, wanted to show their “outrage” at something that most of them are unable to define. They make a fortune doing what they love……

…..Be happy, be cool! A football game, that fans are paying soooo much money to watch and enjoy, is no place to protest. Most of that money goes to the players anyway. Find another way to protest. Stand proudly for your National Anthem or be Suspended Without Pay!
