A 74-year-old driver involved in a three-car crash late last year died from his injuries, Montgomery County Police said.
Victor Guillermo Martinez, of Baltimore, never regained consciousness from the Dec. 16 collision on northbound Route 29, south of Greencastle Road. He died at a local hospital Tuesday.
Police said the 2011 Toyota Corolla that Martinez was driving was struck from behind by a 2006 Mercedes sport-utility vehicle. Martinez’ vehicle then struck the rear of a Mercury Mariner SUV, police said.
The people in the other vehicles were uninjured, police said.
