Baltimore County police are searching for a man who they say follows elderly people from banks to their homes, then mugs them.
The suspect since April has robbed three elderly victims, customers of banks in Rosedale and Parkville, police said. In each case, police said the victims were followed from their banks to their homes and were approached by the suspect as they got out of their vehicles. Each suffered minor injuries that did not require hospitalization.
A 76-year-old man was robbed outside his home around 11 a.m. April 25 after visiting the Bank of America onthe 5300 block of Belair Road. An 82-year-old man was robbed outside his home just before 11 a.m. May 30 after visiting the same bank. An 81-year-old woman was robbed outside her home just after noon May 9 after returning from the Bank of America on the 7700 block of Putty Hill Avenue.
Police recovered video footage of the suspect ? who never entered any of his victims? homes ? inside the banks.
