Group designates Langley AFB as Tree City USA

HAMPTON, Va. (AP) — Langley Air Force Base is being recognized for its efforts to care for trees.

The National Arbor Day Foundation has designated the Hampton base as a Tree City USA. The national program recognizes and promotes communities that take special steps to care for trees.
