The National Republican Congressional Committee raked in nearly $17 million in September, finishing the third quarter with $42.3 million raised and a $92.3 million war chest to spend on GOP efforts to win the House majority.
The NRCC, the House GOP campaign arm, raised $257.4 million for the 2022 election cycle through Sept. 30, topping its performance compared to the same point in 2020 by $43.3 million. House Republicans need to win only a handful of seats to capture the majority after a four-year sojourn in the minority.

The committee’s cash position is also remarkably improved. Two years ago, the NRCC had accumulated $53.1 million in cash on hand to spend in the remaining weeks of the battle for House control. This time around, it has an extra $41 million-plus available to accomplish that task.
Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN), the NRCC chairman, said the committee’s fundraising was a team effort, thanking House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA); House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA); and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), the House Republican Conference chairwoman.
“Thanks to the hard work of the entire House Republican conference and our leadership, including Leader McCarthy, Whip Scalise, and Chairwoman Stefanik, our candidates will have the resources they need to prosecute the case against Democrats’ failed agenda. Now, let’s finish the job and fire Pelosi,” Emmer said in a statement shared with the Washington Examiner.
