LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) — “American Idol” finalist Joshua Ledet’s performance of the National Anthem before Saturday’s kickoff between McNeese State and Central Arkansas has been canceled.

McNeese spokeswoman Candace Townsend said Friday that Ledet’s management said the appearance was canceled “due to unforeseen circumstances.” She says no further explanation was given.
