Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell is helping out a fellow GOP governor Tuesday evening. He’s scheduled to appear at a fundraiser for Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal at a private residence in McLean.
The event, at the home of Fred and Marlene Malek, is expected to bring in about 40 to 50 people and raise about $50,000 for Jindal’s reelection campaign this fall, said McDonnell adviser Phil Cox.
Malek, a major figure in national Republican circles, also chairs McDonnell’s commission on government reform and restructuring.
