A woman was arrested Monday afternoon for allegedly stabbing another woman to death in Southeast D.C., police said.
Cydrisse Marcha-Marie Alvin, 31, was charged with second-degree murder while armed, D.C. police said.
Monday at about 9 a.m., police found the victim, 28-year-old Amber Lynette Kent, suffering from stab wounds in the 3400 block of 13th Place SE, police said. Kent was taken to a hospital where she died.
