Trump supporters on Monday launched a boycott of Walmart after a report that the superstore has been selling an “Impeach 45” retail line of baby and adult apparel.
The hashtag “#BoycottWalmart” began trending on social media shortly after conservative Twitter user Ryan Fournier tweeted out that Walmart was selling the clothing online.
.@walmart why are you selling Impeach 45 baby clothes on your website?????
What kind of message are you trying to send? https://t.co/PwI4nCVAZx

Take the #BoycottWalmart one step further. Not only do not shop at the store now but if you have items you can RETURN, take them back. Flood the stores with returns. Get your $$ back and buy somewhere else.

“These items were sold by third party sellers on our open marketplace, and were not offered directly by Walmart,” a Walmart spokesperson told the Washington Examiner. “We’re removing these types of items pending review of our marketplace policies.”
The “Impeach 45” apparel was taken off the website as of Tuesday afternoon, but a different design with the slogan “Impeach the Donald” was still available.
The superstore also sells plenty of pro-Trump apparel including items with the “Make America Great Again” slogan printed on them and “Donald Trump Speaks For Me” apparel, USA Today noted.
At the end of 2016, Walmart pulled its merchandise that read “Bulletproof – Black Lives Matter” after the National Fraternal Order of Police attacked the company for profiting from racial division. And in Nov. 2017, Walmart stopped selling a shirt that read “Rope. Tree. Journalist. SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED.”
