Beer, wine, music, comedy and outdoor films take center stage this weekend. Variety is the spice of life. Here are five things to do in the D.C. region this weekend:
Through Sunday: Weekend meet and greet extravaganza at Rustico
The popular Savor craft beer event on Saturday has long been sold out, but there’s still great suds to be enjoyed this weekend. Rustico in Alexandria is hosting a series of meet and greets featuring great beers and their makers. From 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, it’s the Terrapin Beer Co. with Spike Buckowski; 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, check out Stone Brewing Co. and Greg Koch; and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, check out the Coronado Brewing Co.
Big beer weekend: Though Savor is sold out, multiple area bars and restaurants are celebrating great beer. Check in with where you enjoy a pint — you might be surprised.

Get a ride: Be safe and consider the $20 for a shuttle ride from the East Falls Church Metro Station out to the festival in Centreville.
