Former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush visited a Ukrainian church in Chicago on Friday to show solidarity for Ukraine amid its conflict with Russia.
The two came to Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Catholic Church toting sunflower bouquets, Ukraine’s national flower. They laid the flowers outside the church.
Chicago is also the sister city of Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. More than 54,000 Chicago residents claim Ukrainian ancestry.
