A man accused of killing his two teenage daughters in a taxicab more than a decade ago has been arrested in Texas after spending nearly six years on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.
Yaser Abdel Said, 63, was arrested in Justin, a small city of about 4,300 people located just outside Fort Worth. An arrest warrant has been out against Said since 2008, when the bodies of his daughters, 18-year-old Amina and 17-year-old Sarah, were discovered inside his abandoned taxicab with multiple gunshot wounds on New Year’s Day. He has been on the Most Wanted list since December 2014.

Sarah was reportedly able to make a 911 call prior to her death in which she implicated her father in the crime.
“Help! Help! My dad shot me, my sister. I’m dying. I’m dying!” Sarah was heard screaming.
Said had previously been indicted for sexually abusing his daughters when they were 8 and 9 years old, according to PIX11.
Police in Irving, where the shooting occurred, have not revealed a motive for the slayings but have said in the past that Said might have been upset about his daughters’ relationships and teenage behavior, CBS DFW reported.
In addition to Said, his son, Islam Said, and brother, Yassim Said, were also arrested and face charges of harboring a fugitive.
“The FBI-led Dallas Violent Crimes Task Force has worked tirelessly to find Yaser Abdel Said,” FBI Dallas Special Agent in Charge Matthew DeSarno said in a statement. “His capture and arrest bring us one step closer to justice for Amina and Sarah. We want to thank our partners at the Irving Police Department for working with us to apprehend this dangerous individual.”
