The D.C. Council is almost out for the summer, and Ward 3 Councilwoman Mary Cheh has big plans for the recess: a language immersion program in Mexico.

“I’m going to live with a Mexican family, and I’m going to take four lessons a day,” said Cheh, who added that she has wanted to participate in such an experience for years.
