FBI joins search for ex-Wizards player charged with murder The FBI is now helping police search for a former Washington Wizards player charged with killing a woman in Atlanta.

Javaris Crittenton, who played guard for the Wizards from 2008 to 2010, is charged in the Aug. 19 shooting death of 22-year-old Jullian Jones.

An FBI special agent told the Associated Press on Sunday that the agency is involved in searching for Crittenton in Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Authorities believe Crittenton was trying to retaliate for an April robbery in which he was the victim, and Jones was not his target in the shooting.
