Intruders target Georgetown students

Georgetown University students discovered intruders in their homes in two separate incidents on Friday evening, according to police.

One student was in the living room of her apartment on the 1400 block of 36th Street Northwest before 10 p.m. when an unknown male emerged from a nearby closet.

The suspect, described as a black male wearing a North Face jacket and sunglasses, said he was looking for a party and fled the scene.

In a separate incident, another student found an intruder in her bedroom at the 3600 block of O Street Northwest around 10:30 p.m. The suspect, a black male, was wearing a hooded jacket, white gloves and a mask. He fled the scene after the student screamed.
