Bernie Sanders followed up his victory in Kansas with a win in Nebraska Saturday night.
The Vermont senator has fallen behind Hillary Clinton because he keeps overwhelmingly losing the African-American vote in Southern states, but Sanders has fared well in the Midwest and caucus states.
Caucuses were a liability for Clinton in 2008, when Barack Obama repeatedly out-organized and defeated her. But this time around, she managed to win Iowa and Nevada, despite strong challenges from Sanders.
The Super Saturday primaries have nevertheless shown the 74-year-old democratic socialist strong in the caucuses tonight. The wins may slow Clinton’s mometnum after a series of victories Tuesday.
Sanders will debate Clinton in Michigan Saturday night.
