Fox Sports NFL broadcasters Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were captured appearing to mock military flyovers on a hot mic recording.
“That’s a lot of jet fuel just to do a little flyover,” broadcaster and Hall of Fame quarterback Aikman can be heard saying Sunday after a pregame flyover in a video posted by Defector.
“That’s your hard-earned money and your tax dollars at work,” broadcaster Joe Buck responded in a seemingly sarcastic tone.
Things then turned political with Aikman saying, “That stuff ain’t happening with a Kamala-Biden ticket. I’ll tell you that right now, partner.”

The hot mic comments were met with mixed reactions on Twitter and in the media, with some agreeing with the broadcasters and some, including country music star John Rich, disagreeing.
“I’m a lifelong @dallascowboys fan, but hearing @TroyAikman belittle our military as they flew over the stadium has officially twisted my mind into a knot,” Rich tweeted Tuesday morning.
