WILMINGTON, Ill. (AP) — Authorities in northeast Illinois’ Will County say an apparent trespasser at a cellular telephone tower site fell to his death while climbing the structure.

Wilmington Police Chief Phillip Arnold tells the (Joliet) Herald-News (http://bit.ly/1r2cqlr) that the body of 37-year-old Edward Sqeullati of Wilmington was found Tuesday afternoon by a service technician at the American Tower site.

Arnold says a tool used to cut a hole in a fence near the 100-foot-tall tower was found at the scene.

Police and the county coroner’s office say Squellati was not authorized to be at the tower.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
