A second Chibok schoolgirl who had been kidnapped by members of the Boko Haram terrorist group in 2014 has been found, according to Nigerian Army Col. Sani Usman.
A CNN report did not disclose the girl’s name or how she was able to flee to safety, but confirmed the news around 5 p.m. local time Thursday.
Amina Ali Nkeki was the first to be found Tuesday following two years of being held captive. Nkeki gave birth to a baby while she was held by the terrorist group.
Up to 276 schoolgirls were taken at gunpoint on April 14, 2014 when Boko Haram militants stormed the boarding school. Approximately 50 girls broke free from their kidnappers shortly after the incident, but more than 200 have remained unaccounted for since then.
