New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie continues to up his profile by stumping for GOP candidates, going to Florida on Friday to help Gov. Rick Scott.
Scott will be joined by Christie in Panama City on Friday as part of Scott’s “Let’s Keep Working Tax Cuts Bus Tour,” according to a Facebook event by Florida Rep. Jimmy Patronis.
Scott, who is up against Democrat and one-time Florida Republican Sen. Charlie Crist in a tight race, was already joined by Christie earlier this year in the Tampa Bay area.
Christie has been stumping for numerous gubernatorial candidates lately, including Illinois’ GOP candidate Bruce Rauner — ramping up rumors Christie is doing so to eventually run for the 2016 presidential nomination.
Christie leads the potential 2016 Republican presidential nomination field, according to the RealClearPolitics average of recent polls.
