Hillary Clinton, expected to launch her campaign for president early next year, is already mapping her path to that decision with a major green energy speech set for December to one of the nation’s most influential conservation activist groups.
The League of Conservation Voters said that Clinton will speak at their annual dinner in New York City December 1. The group is working overtime to elect liberal conservationists such as Michelle Nunn in Georgia and Bruce Braley in Iowa.
“Secretary Clinton outlined a compelling vision of a clean energy future that makes fighting the climate crisis a top priority during her recent speech at the National Clean Energy Summit. We’re honored that Secretary Clinton will continue that call to action as the featured speaker at our New York dinner this year,” said Gene Karpinski, president of the LCV.
