Cantor’s diet secrets revealed

We hear it’s better than Atkins.

The Cantor Diet: long bouts of hunger, intermittent tuna fish sandwiches and a strict kosher regiment, that’s how House Minority Whip Eric Cantor dropped the pounds.

An aide told Yeas & Nays that the Virginia Republican is so hard at work helping to lead the Republican Party that he often forgets to eat, leaving his team with no choice, but to remind him to chow down.

But if he must eat, he prefers tuna fish sandwiches, staying clear of anything that breaks his kosher diet. As for his workout routine, Cantor jogs.

According to celebrity trainer Mark Jenkins of Universal Wellness, Cantor’s diet works “because he’s doing a little bit of everything right.”

“He’s eating kosher which lends itself to being clean foods usually low in glycemics cause they are not processed,” Mark Jenkins said.  “And he’s cutting calories at the same time… replacing them with clean foods and he’s doing a lot of running on top of that.”

He warns, though, that because the GOP leader has lost so much weight in a short period of time, he may be losing muscle mass as well.

So how much has Cantor dropped?

“It looks like he dropped 40, 50 [pounds] pretty easy,” Jenkins said.
