Gov. Mike Pence returned to Indiana Saturday evening after attending a campaign event in New York earlier that day alongside Donald Trump, who welcomed Pence to the presumptive Republican ticket at their first joint appearance since Pence withdrew from his re-election bid.
In brief remarks outside Indianapolis, Pence thanked members of his family and asked his supporters to pray for them as they entered the general election.
