THEY’RE BACK: Burger King began trading again on the New York Stock exchange
PRIVATE NO MORE: The company, which was purchased and taken private by 3G Capital in 2010, is trading under the ticker “BKW” and opened at a share price of $14.50.
ROUNDABOUT RETURN: In April 3G announced a complex deal to sell a minority stake in Burger King to Justice Holdings Ltd., a London-based entity that was specifically set up to invest in another company. Justice suspended trading on the London Stock Exchange and emerged as Burger King Worldwide Inc.
