Five Washington-area Lexus dealers helped raise $72,000 recently to take on cancer. They donated an IS convertible to the annual Lombardi Gala Raffle, benefiting the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Care Center. All of the proceeds from the black-tie gala and silent auction went to cancer research, education and treatment. Lexus’ partnership with Lombardi has raised more than $364,000 since 2003. Lombardi is one of only 40 comprehensive cancer centers in the nation, and the only one in the District.
