FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky is getting more than $6 million from the federal government to help people who have been out of work for a long time.
Gov. Steve Beshear’s office says the Job-Driven National Emergency Grant from the U.S. Labor Department will be used to create and expand job-driven training programs for laid-off workers.
